I’m Gelila and I’m the founder of Aone Partners. Aone is a private partnership of 14 enterprise software CEOs, global tech founders and private investors. The goal of this partnership is to transform a great product into a pioneering enterprise.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of meeting hundreds of founders who have shared their stories with me. As a Researcher at Stanford University, I worked with faculty to build case studies on entrepreneurs building the world’s largest enterprises. Ten of these studies were published in the Harvard Business Review. Later, as a Director at a Private holding company, I had conversations with hundreds of entrepreneurs building bootstrapped businesses. They kept a lean team and devoted themselves to building great solutions for their customers. They believed (and I verified) that they had exceptional products that can compete on a world-class level and serve a much broader and larger customer base. However, as they scaled, many founders found themselves pulled away from their primary passion—building great products. This challenge is what we want to take on at Aone. We are committed to helping bootstrapped founders elevate their products into a market-leading enterprise. Here’s how we operate:

1. Our goal is to uphold the legacy of founders and build operational excellence at scale. To that end, I will join the management team and commit to partnering with the founder to manage the growth of the business.

2. The Aone Partnership will establish a Board of Directors comprised of world-class Software CEOs, Technology Founders and private investors, all of whom will be dedicated to building a strong network of partnerships around the business to guide its next phase of growth.

3. We will join the business as committed owners and partners. We’re flexible and open to principal or full ownership, depending on the founder’s preferences.

4. As soon as we join, we will immediately bring on our go-to-market partners, a full-service go-to-market team that has successfully helped scale over 70 software businesses.

Finally, I believe that the highest expression of human potential is what we can orchestrate through aligned intention. I view entrepreneurship as a search for the limitless capabilities latent in human potential.
